Symposium 2025


General Information

This is a one-day Scientific Symposium in honor of the 90th birthday of Professors Marvin L. Cohen and Y. Ron Shen. The Symposium will take place on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the University of California, Berkeley, and focus on forefront research topics in the field of condensed matter physics. The Symposium will begin in the morning and consist of a full day of talks by renowned scientists around the world, as well as poster sessions, followed by dinner and discussion in the evening.

The Symposium will be held at Physics North (previously Le Conte Lecture Hall 1 in the Department of Physics located behind the Campanile (watch tower) on the campus of the University of California, Berkeley (Map). Directions to campus and parking information.
